Puppies from Minnie and Max's Summer 2024 litter will go to their forever homes the week of August 20th. Our next planned litter is January 2025. Owners James Meinecke and Rebecca McWilliams live at the Lewis Farm in Concord, with our three children and five Cairns.
Our commitment is to ensure that our cairn terriers puppies are healthy, and that the breed remains an option for families to love for generations to come. We are located in Concord, NH - approximately 90 minutes north of Boston Logan Airport. We are a small breeder family, and all our dogs are part of our household. We are responsible Cairn Terrier Breeders and we offer Cairn Terrier Puppies to screened households.
Our current dogs are Bruns Minerva Mac Cloud (Minnie), Faehallow Maximus Decimus McWilliams (Max), Faehallow Midnight Skye McWilliams (Skye), McWilliams Lucky Copper Penelope (Penny), and McWilliams Ruby Rose (Ruby). Max is actively pursuing his AKC Conformation Championship. Skye is learning from Max and just starting out at AKC shows. Minnie got her first Major at a show in Spring 2024, and is a very good momma to her summer litter. Penny and Ruby are doing obedience training. We fell in love with Liberty Belle, our first Cairn Terrier, and expected to spend much more time on this earth together than we did. Libby passed away due to health complications far too early at the age of 7. Because of Libby, we are dedicated to responsible breeding to ensure that all our dogs are healthy and live full lives. We do health checks and use Embark DNA health tests on all of our dogs prior to planning a litter.
We believe that Cairn Terriers are great family dogs, stubborn and loyal, smart and energetic in a small package - with an excellent prey drive for keeping our family farm and compost operation free of vermin.
We are a safe haven for the lifetime of your pet. If you are ever unable to care for a dog from our kennel, we will take any of our dogs back and work to find a suitable new home.
